Sealing vacuum

Sealing vacuum is a continuous stream of air which flows from outside of a product to the inside via all openings. The flow of air is discharged via a separate air connection.

Its purpose is to prevent abrasion, aerosols from grease or oil and the like, from being discharged from the inside of the product to the outside environment.
The usual pressure range for sealing vacuum is -0.2 to -0.5 bar. Lower pressure levels could cause impermissible stress on the panel elements and result in the drawing in of lubricants or similar due to excessive flow rates. It’s important to ensure that an appropriate volume of air flows through the entire area to be protected. This may, under certain circumstances, require more than one supply port.
